Rimbunan Hijau Academy

Rimbunan Hijau Academy was established in 2005 as a skills training center to cater for in-house training needs with Automotive Mechatronics and Automotive Technicians and plantation courses as the core course offerings. Since 2011, the Academy has repositioned itself as an accredited Skills & Professional Development Center under Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM), complementing the current automotive with Pastry Production and Food Preparation & Production courses. Early Childhood Care and Development Education Programme was subsequently introduced in 2025. 

Through the concept of On-Job Training and intern placement, the academy has fostered strong ties with local companies ranging from Automotive and Food and Beverage businesses. Our students receive hands-on exposure and mentorship through placement during the course of their study. Practical training is crucial to satisfy the industry requirements and important to provide skilled and qualified workforce to the industry in the long run.

Besides aspiring to be one of the leading professional and skills development institution in Sarawak, we are open to further collaboration to promote lifelong learning and innovation to equip our students, be it school leavers or working adults, to remain relevant and competitive in today’s dynamic workplace.
